Thank you to Julie Yen from the Casa Grande Public Library. Julie was our guest speaker at the club meeting today. She gave us an update on e-readers.....Kindle, Nook, Sony Readers, etc. and showed how we could download thousands of free books to read from the public library. The library will be holding more classes on this topic if you care to attend. We also reviewed how to download books for reading on our smart phones.
Classes are one hour each and run back to back. The first hour will be about all the different kinds of e-readers available. The second hour is about how to download books to your e-reader from the internet and free books from your library. Class schedules are as follows:
December 7, Wednesday, First class 3:00, Second class 4:00 at the new library on the corner of Cottonwood and Arizola
December 14, Wednesday Same times again at the new library. Advanced registration is desired. Call Julie Yen at 520-421-8710, extension 5013.
Next week's meeting will show how to dress up your Christmas letter. Using Word or Word Pad, start your Christmas letter and Mike will show you how to dress it up with photos, clip art, frames, etc.
