November 16, 2011



We had a GREAT meeting today with lots of information. We received many compliments from both beginners and advanced users who said they learned new tips and tricks for using Internet Explorer and surfing the web.
Be sure to check the right side of this blog for an agenda of upcoming meetings or announcements. There will be NO MEETING ON NOVEMBER 23 due to setting up for Thanksgiving dinner.
Tips from Today's class on Internet Explorer (IE)
How to set up your home page when IE first opens.
Understanding how the tabs work at the top of the page.
Right click on a link to open it in a new tab or a new window.
Using the address box as a search box.
Use Alt D to access the address bar.
Use up and down arrows to scroll through a web page or document.
Use the 'home' button to jump to the top of a page
Use the 'end' button to jump to the bottom of a page
Pin frequently used documents or folders to the start menu or task bar.
View browsing history.
