We send a big thank you to Best Buy for sending our guest speaker to us today. Charles was a wealth of information about technology in general. He mainly talked about notebooks, iPads, tablets, etc. but he also gave us some great tips and tricks to help with our computers. Mike Salter will be posting notes from the event on his website. Charles loves to talk about technology and said we could come to see him at the store for help with any problems or questions we encounter.
Next week Mike will bring his printer and give us some tips for printing wirelessly. We’ll also type and format a letter in Word, Word Pad, or other programs.
Sign up sheets for upcoming computer classes are posted in the Activities Office on a clipboard called “Computer Classes”. The sign up sheet for “Beginners” is limited to 10 participants who are using Windows 7 only.
Picasa classes will be split into Level 1 and a Level 2. The session called “Beginners PLUS” is for those users who know how to access their email, view their photos, but want to learn more.
