We were pleasantly surprised at the big turnout for this meeting since it was the day before the big Thanksgiving holiday! Thanks for taking the time from your busy schedule to attend.
We reviewed last week’s presentation about creating our own business cards. A couple members had copies to share. It’s fun to experiment with different styles, colors, fonts, and customize with our own photos.
Our next project was customized Christmas cards and matching return address labels. It will be fun creating our masterpieces to send out to friends and relatives this year.
Next week on December 1, Mike Salter will present a program on how to download your photos into your computer, create file folders, and how best to name and organize your photos. This will be a very informative presentation. We’ve also invited the photo club to join us so come early to get a good seat (and help set up tables and chairs).
On December 8, Mike will show us how to create a simple spreadsheet and make our own telephone directory so we can update it, alphabetize it by site number or last name, easily print, etc. These same skills will then allow you to create other types of spreadsheets on your own.
