Today's informative meeting was about the different ways to print from a web page. We learned how to print the entire page with the printer friendly icons, how to use the snipping tool, how to save ink by using grayscale, how to print from a selection, and how to turn off the header/footer in print preview. Print preview is our friend when printing from a web page. You can select the pages to print rather than print the entire site.
We learned how to create mailing labels using Word templates. Next week we will learn to use the FREE Avery Design Pro software to create business cards, labels, and even greeting cards. Google "Avery Design Pro" and download the program so you're ready for the next lesson.
